The birchwood forest background is actually taken from the physical wallpaper that covers my bedroom walls. I wanted to give it a feel of entering a forest when you click on the “enter” button of the homepage. The book look is consistent with the look of my old website which also was in a book format to showcase my portfolio book virtually. I wanted the photos of the book cover and the last page of the book (the contact page above) to tie in together with it being different facial expressions from the same photo shoot.
